Halloween will be here on Thursday, October 31st. Traditionally, FLV has numerous children roaming the neighborhood in costume. If your household will be dispensing treats, please turn your porch light on and tape the flyer that has been put in your newspaper slot with the pumpkin side displayed. This will let parents and youngsters know which houses are giving out treats.
Trick-or-Treating hours are from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm on October 31st.
In addition, FLV has hired security that will patrol the neighborhood on both October 30th as well as October 31st.
Everyone is asked to turn on your exterior garage lights on both October 30th and 31st to keep the streets illuminated. Please drive extra carefully on October 31st. If possible, avoid driving during the trick-or-treating hours. Have kids carry a flashlight, glow sticks and/or wear reflective costumes to enhance visibility.
