The new mailboxes are in!!!!
We are extremely happy that the Mailbox Replacement Project is almost complete. Finishing touches will be done this coming week (weather permitting).
The old boxes were constructed of wood and had various nails and screws in them. During removal, it is possible that some nails/screws may have fallen off into your lawn in the surrounding area. Please check your lawns and surrounding areas for nails/screws/etc..... Should you find anything, we appreciate your efforts to dispose of them properly.
Please check that everything is functional on your new mailbox.... no loose screws or missing hardware. Board members are also checking the new mailboxes, but we appreciate your assistance and quick feedback should you find something missing or loose on the new mailbox.
Lastly, PLEASE make sure your house number is correct on the new mailbox. Unfortunately, some of the address number labels were damaged, so we ran out of numbers to put on the new mailboxes. In order for mail to continue to be delivered, Blue tape with your house number was put on the new mailbox. The US Postal Service will not deliver mail to a non-addressed mailbox. If you remove the tap e or if it should fall off, please replace it. Otherwise you will not receive you mail. New address number labels are being RUSH ordered/delivered and will be placed onto the mailboxes as soon as they arrive.
